A highly detailed brass kit of a smock mill based on blackdown and shipley bridge. This mill was a part brick and part wood structure with wood sails. We have modelled all of the detail from the sail blades to the rear gearing to 'steer' the mill into the wind. Approx dimensions 150mm across the width of the walkway and total height of 260mm Brass unpainted kit with white metal accessories. The unit is designed to be motorised, ours is working and runs off solar energy. (The only things required are a solar or electric motor/gearbox and small length of brass tube x 2 (one tube fits inside the other)(motor from Solar Technic Germany and the brass from Albion Alloys UK)
